Out of the smoldering ashes of the Northern California Paisely Underground scene and the still flaming iconic eyeball sound of San Francisco comes the shining apparition of the Graves Brothers Deluxe. Frontman Stoo Odom (ex Thin White Rope) on bass and the wildly talented team of Willy the Mailman (guitar/sax) and Marco Villalobos (drums) have erupted from the studio with a sultry concoction of sonic voodoo that defies gravity; pernicious yet bouyant. Guesting guitarist Nolan Cook (The Residents) adds a contorted luster to gonna happen to you. This is music for adults with bad attitudes. Imagine an unholy cross between the Butthole Surfers and Mingus and you start to get the idea.
